RoadWhisper — Terms of Use

By downloading or using RoadWhisper ("the app"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. Description of Service

RoadWhisper is an AI-powered audio guide that narrates stories about landmarks, castles, and historic sites while you drive. The app runs in the background and uses your GPS location to detect nearby places of interest.

2. Subscriptions and Payments

RoadWhisper offers a free tier and a Premium subscription ($2.99/month). Premium features include unlimited daily stories and additional narration styles. Subscriptions are billed through the Google Play Store or Apple App Store and are subject to their respective terms. You may cancel at any time through your store account settings.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use RoadWhisper only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of others. You must not:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
• Use the app while driving in a way that compromises road safety
• Attempt to access our servers or APIs in an unauthorized manner

4. AI-Generated Content

Stories narrated by RoadWhisper are generated by AI and may contain inaccuracies. The content is provided for entertainment and general interest only and should not be relied upon as factual or historical authority. We make no warranties about the accuracy or completeness of AI-generated stories.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the app will be available at all times, error-free, or that place data will be accurate or up to date.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Borys Huzhvynskyi and RoadWhisper shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the app.

7. Safety

RoadWhisper is designed to be used hands-free while driving. Always comply with local traffic laws. Do not interact with the app screen while driving. You are solely responsible for safe vehicle operation.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available at roadwhisper.org/terms.html. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, without regard to conflict of law principles.
